OUR 5-STEP EVALUATION PROCESS
Step 1
Initial Online Intake
Your journey begins with a personalized online meeting with one of our experienced psychologists. We'll explore your or your child’s story – from early development and learning experiences to social connections and interests. We take time to understand what makes you or your child unique, focusing on strengths and areas where support might be helpful.
Step 2
Gathering Helpful Information
We believe understanding someone fully means learning from all the important people in their lives. Through carefully chosen questionnaires and thoughtful interviews, we collect insights from family members and educators who know you or your child best. This helps us see the whole person across different environments and situations.
Step 3
Personalized Assessment Experience
Our in-person testing sessions are tailored to each individual's comfort and needs. We typically spend 4-5 hours together, spread across 2-3 days, to ensure everyone can do their best work without feeling overwhelmed. Our office provides a calm, supportive environment where you or your child can feel at ease while completing various activities and assessments.
Step 4
Thoughtful Analysis & Recommendation Development
Our psychologists carefully analyze all the information gathered, looking at how different aspects of development, learning, and daily life fit together. We develop personalized recommendations that build on existing strengths while providing practical strategies for areas where support might be beneficial.
Step 5
Collaborative Results Review
Finally, we will meet in person or online to share our findings and discuss recommendations. This is a collaborative conversation where we ensure you understand the results and feel confident about the next steps. We'll answer your questions and provide concrete strategies for moving forward.
